Email sending limits

To protect the reputation of our mail servers and keep your email landing in inboxes, NivaCity applies sending limits to every email account. Here is how they work.

You can send email normally, one message after another, up to 200 emails per email address per day.

A single email can have up to 100 recipients. Sending to more than 100 recipients in one message is blocked. This counts everyone in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields together.

These limits are in place to prevent the sending patterns that spam follows. They stop one misused account from damaging the reputation of the mail server that all customers share.

If these limits are too low for legitimate use, we can raise them. Log in to your Clientzone, open a support ticket, and request an email limit increase. Let us know roughly how many emails you need to send and what they are for, and we will help.

This is common for transactional email that goes out in volume, for example a scheduled job that emails many invoices at once. That is a legitimate use, so contact support and we will raise your limit rather than have you work around the cap.

We do not allow bulk email marketing on our hosting, even to lists that have confirmed their subscription through double opt-in. Marketing campaigns belong on a dedicated email marketing platform.

We do allow transactional email, the messages your website or application sends as part of normal use, such as invoices, password resets, and one-time passwords (OTPs).

If you are not sure whether your use case is allowed, contact support before you start sending and we will let you know.
